Who lives in, on and under our favorite tree

Preps adopted a tree, then worked with their partners to find out who lived on, in and under their tree. They measured their trees and found out the size and shape of the leaves on their trees. They saw birds nests in some trees, possum scat under their trees and different types of leaves and bark.

click here Orangutans designed by Georgia, Amy, Brittany as part of their Earth Alive – Making a difference project. Students in grade 5/6 were asked to research an Environmental Issue which they felt passionate about, present their information to others and ‘make a difference’. Georgia, Amy and Brittany have designed this power point presentation to educate others and are planning on holding a ‘free dress day’ fundraising activity, by asking others to donate a gold coin which will be donated to Save the Orangutan Fund. Well done girls I am very proud of your efforts!
